C. albus & C. venustus

Hello everyone, I survived a brief visit to Antioch, CA!  (I also survived a thunder & lightning storm while hiking.  I thought it didn’t rain in California?!?)  I am pleased to report that I encountered two lilies, C. venustus and C. albus, at Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve.  I had originally planned to go to Pinnacles National Park, but when I heard back from a naturalist from Black Diamond Mines with specific instructions where to find C. venustus and that it was the best bloom in years, I changed my plans at the last minute.
